A stretch ceiling is a thin PVC membrane clipped into a slim track around the edge of the room and pulled flat. It covers an uneven, cracked or patched ceiling without breaking it open, and gives a perfectly smooth surface with no joints, in matte, satin or gloss.
Lights, fans and AC grilles fit through the membrane, and translucent membranes can be lit from behind, so the whole ceiling or a panel of it glows evenly. Fitting is quick and clean, with no plastering and little dust.
